Kelly Hora, M.Ac. Dipl.Ac MS

Kelly is a licensed acupuncturist in Wisconsin and is Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She holds a Master Degree (approx. 3000 hours of training) in Acupuncture from the Traditional Acupunture Institute in Maryland.

Acupuncture is well known for treating acute and chronic pain.
In addition, Kelly specializes in emotional and mental health, stress-relief, and pediatrics. Kelly's work with anxiety, depression, trauma relief and addiction recovery has been widely recognized and compliments traditional psychotherapeutic and counseling work.

Kelly was honored in 2009 as an Athena Young Professional Nominee awarded by The Business Forum, in Madison WI. She was recognized, in part, for her work bringing together volunteer acupuncturists to start the Madison Veteran's Project. The Madison Veteran's Project offers free, community-style acupuncture to veterans and their families to help them alleviate the symptoms of acute stress and trauma.

Prior to her career in acupuncture, Kelly earned her BA and MS degrees in Biology and worked as an ecologist throughout the US. Her interest in complimentary medicine began through her research in the conservation of medicinal plants. Kelly’s love of teaching and working with children was sparked when she was an environmental educator in rural Rhode Island. As an acupuncturist she enjoys working as a team with parents.

Kelly regularly offers informational talks and workshops on Chinese medicine. Contact her to schedule public speaking engagements for your business or organization.
