Children's Health
Have you considered using Chinese Medicine to help your child feel better? It's a great option for little ones!
Treatments can be done with or without needles and are individually tailored to meet the needs of your child with no side effects. I will teach you specific acupressure points to help your child and a consultation is always available free of charge.
Acupressure uses the same energy points and channels as those in acupuncture; but the hands and fingers take the place of needles. Your chld will benefit from light touch and simple massage to areas such as the hands, back and feet. Learn how to improve your child's health and vitality; I always teach parents how to do these simple techniques at home. That way treating your child becomes an empowering experience and a team effort.
5 year old Allison woke up in the middle of the night with neck pain after falling off the jungle gym at school. Her mom brought her into the clinic for acupressure and gentle body work to release the tight and sore muscles. Within 30 minutes Allison was able to turn her neck fully in both directions with considerably less discomfot. After gently massaging acupressure points on her neck, shoulders and her left foot there was much more spark in Allison's eyes and she was moving with much more ease. She asked her mom if she could go to school to see her friends, and when mom called me that afternoon Allison was back to her self.
7 year old Grant was suffering from asthma and daily nose bleeds. I was very uncomfortable using the steroids as I was not too sure what the long term effects would be on my son’s health. Grant also suffered from daily nosebleeds. He had had his nose cauterized several times with very short term relief. He was extremely moody and constantly complaining of crampy legs and being tired after 10 hours of sleep. Grant was very apprehensive at his first visit not knowing what to expect. Kelly made him feel at ease. She explained everything that she was doing even let him hold her tools. By the end of the first visit my normally quiet Grant was laughing and sharing about himself. She had quickly gained his confidence.Gradually through treatment Grant was no longer having flare ups with his asthma. His nosebleeds rarely occurred and when they did they were very light. Through Kelly’s loving care Grant was able to find relief in his asthma, nosebleeds, crankiness and leg cramps. Kelly has an incredible gift of listening and putting her patients at ease. She is very easy to talk to and truly cares about her patients. We are so very grateful for her as a healer and helping us to find a solution to Grant’s health issues.
